JATS Viewer plugin for OJS
XML galleys are shown as full text on the article page, with any OJS theme. Included free for top-plan subscribers.
Installation
- Download the ZIP for your OJS version (see Administration → System Information).
- OJS: Settings → Website → Plugins → Upload A New Plugin → choose the ZIP.
- Enable “Graha JATS Viewer” in the Generic Plugins list.
- Upload the XML as a galley labelled XML with its images; the full text appears on the article page.
OJS 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5. Does not change your theme.

No settings needed
The viewer picks up your theme’s colour automatically and places the full text right below the article details. It stays inactive on journals using the Graha E-Journal Theme, which has its own viewer.
Questions
My theme already has a JATS viewer (e.g. Amarta). Do I need this plugin?
No. The XML from this service is standard JATS. If your theme already displays it well, you do not need to enable this plugin.
Does the plugin work for XML made elsewhere?
Yes, as long as it is JATS (<article>, <body>, <back> elements).
Images not showing?
Make sure each dependent file name matches the xlink:href in the XML exactly, including case and extension.
